DOORS AT 8:30 | CONCERT AT 9:00
Ann Arbor singer-songwriter Anne Erlewine explores gentle zones of sound with her deceptively stark acoustic guitar strum and delicate lyricism - kindred to her sensitivities as a fine artist - reflective and vulnerable in equal measure.
Her debut album Over the Bones was produced by acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Bathgate and recorded at High Bias Recordings in Detroit, with the musical support of local artists.
Chris Bathgate is an American singer/songwriter originally born in rural Iowa, raised in rural Illinois, and currently residing in Michigan. He began drawing attention as a solo artist in 2005 upon the release of his first album, Silence is for Suckers, after a slew of self-produced EPs / Singles and a stint in the short-lived (but much loved) group The Descent of the Holy Ghost Church.
Anne & Chris will be performing with the support and grace of seasoned musicians Alex Anest (lap steel/electric guitar) and Ozzie Andrews (upright bass) - both local culture jammers attuned to carving sonic balance with skill and sensitivity.
