Join us for an exploration of the Great American Songbook with the Lynne Frederickson Trio!

Lynne, a musical storyteller with a passion for early 20th-century popular song, will share fresh interpretations of jazz standards from Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, Ellington, Mercer, Weill, and more, pausing along the way to share historical anecdotes with her characteristic charm and wit.

Lynne is thrilled to be sharing the stage with some extraordinary cats. William Marshall Bennett, on keys, is an accomplished soloist, bandleader, and sideman for various ensembles all over southeast Michigan, stylistically ranging from ragtime to rock to modern pop and jazz.

Charlie Reischl, on upright bass, brings to the trio a diverse musical background that spans classical, folk, and jazz. You may have seen him play recently at the Ark or North Star as part of the Dick Siegel trio, or in the Buckhorn Bar Band for the North Country Opera.
