James Bourland is a local musician specializing in classic Americana, Roots, Blues, and Country music. Recently returned to Michigan after performing in the Chicago scene over a decade, he plays an eclectic range of styles while always staying rooted deep in the traditions of American folk and blues. At the North Star Lounge James will give a special performance of Honky Tonk and Outlaw Country classics interspersed with original songs. Virtuosic playing and stunning harmonies from a tight ensemble composed of Alex Anest on Lap Steel, Michael Spaly on Fiddle, Ryan Shea on Double Bass and Jordan Otto on Drums are sure to make for an unforgettable experience.
