Originally born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Hanna Mignano has made a name for herself as one of the most distinguishable and unique voices in the jazz violin tradition today. She began honing her skills as a jazz musician during high school in the Toledo School for the Arts jazz band, and later on in the Cleveland Tri-C program under the tutelage of tenor legend, Ernie Krivda. Since then, Hanna has performed and toured with a wide array of musical acts over the years, most notably The Jimmy Grant Ensemble and The Hot Club of San Francisco. She currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana where she performs regularly with her own band, and continues to cultivate her musical identity as a bandleader and composer.
