Sunitha presents Shanti World Music featuring Mike List on percussion, Dave Sharp on Bass and David Tregenza on Native American flute and Saxophone.

Sunitha is a World Music Composer, Singer and Teacher who specializes in the genre of Kannada (A south Indian Language) Bhavageete which translates to singing poetry. With the motto, ‘Bringing The World Together With Music’, it drives her to do what she's been doing here in a home away from home for the past 30 years. For her, music has no boundaries, and she has collaborated with musicians of different genres and has created new compositions and melodies.

Sunitha originally comes from Bengaluru, a city in the southern state of Karnataka in India. She considers herself very lucky to have grown up in a rich culture of poetry and music. Poems of great Kannada poets have been her inspiration and have taught her many life lessons. Through her performances she attempts to share these poems that are very close to her heart.
