The Glen Leven Band started in Ann Arbor on Glen Leven Road in 2012 to play a St. Patrick's Day gig and has been performing all over Southeast Michigan ever since at pubs, festivals, parks and porches. They play rocking Irish pub music, including revved-up versions of traditional tunes, along with an eclectic mix of roots, rockabilly and blues. Most of the band's material outside of the Irish music is songs they've composed, with dozens about the Great Lake State, its people and places, like "The Girl Down Dixboro Road”, "15 Miles to Adrian", "They Don't Call it Depot Town for Nothing" and more! The band features Kevin Devine on vocals, guitar, accordion and piano, Jerry Hancock on bass, Brent Oeschger on drums, and Dave McDaniel on guitar and vocals.
