Bob Hoot is an award-winning singer/songwriter living in the Ann Arbor, MI area. Hoot moved from Madison WI in January 2024. Bob Hoot of HOOT and Hollers performs as a solo act. The vibe is multi-genre leaning into Americana, Alternative Country, and Alt Rock in acoustic and semi-acoustic arrangements. Performances mix Hoot’s original songs with favorite covers.

Bob Hoot records his songs in full band arrangements as HOOT and Hollers with musicians from his former Madison bands and players from Madison now in Nashville, Boston, and California. H&H released four albums of original songs: Bob Hoot of HOOT and Hollers on His Own but Not Alone (March 2025), Bob Hoot & Friends • Genuine American Music (2024), 100% Smooth & Blended (2023), and Matters of the Heart and Other Trouble (202). In 2021, Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers released an album of covers aptly titled Cover Letters.
