Ben Seguin plays guitar and sings, mostly songs that he writes. This has been going on for a long time. His songs are not all that long, but he gets to the point, often in a humorous way, about such amusing topics as dysfunctional relationships, consumerism, and cheese fries.
Ben lives in Ann Arbor now after 20 years in Detroit where he and his wife Chris raised their two children. His formative years were spent in Wisconsin, where he was heavily influenced by the need to get out of there even if it meant riding his bicycle 700 miles to join Chris in Michigan. He is inspired by Bob Dylan, John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Loudon Wainwright, Richard Thompson, and everyday life as it unfolds.
