Ananda wears his heart on his fretboard and leverages a robust and versatile vocal range to create music that is comforting and exciting all at once. Using his own eclectic blend of musical interests across reggae, folk, jazz and Indian tribal as inspiration for his personal expressions; it’s not hard to tell what he was feeling when he composed a particular song - or to feel it alongside him as he belts it out.
Though decidedly pop-y and listenable, Ananda often breaks free of conventional verse/refrain/verse/refrain structure in favor of a progressive lyrical narrative that calls forth a focus from his listeners that leaves them feeling seen and serenaded all at once.
